Little Big MY
A storybook shop that still loads fast
A headless Shopify store for a parent-and-child brand: painterly scroll scenes, a product showcase and events. Light enough to feel instant on a phone.
Where it started.
Little Big brings parents and children together through products, stories and events. The brand needed to feel warm and hand-made, but its customers are busy parents on phones, and the client was clear that loading speed mattered more than spectacle.
How we approached it.
We designed a storybook world (a sprout that grows into a daisy as you scroll, a meadow, a noticeboard for events) and built it with native scrolling and lightweight motion instead of heavy 3D. Commerce runs headless on Shopify, so the brand gets a custom storefront with Shopify’s checkout, and the catalogue can drop in as soon as product data arrives.
Where it stands.
The storefront, story pages and events are built and in client review. The shop stays unpublished until the brand’s final product data arrives, then it drops straight in.
The system behind it.
Little Big MY, taken apart: from the screen people use to the work that keeps it running.

What we built.
Storybook home
A painterly scroll scene where a sprout grows into a daisy, with motion that respects reduced-motion settings.
Product showcase
The Tigrox range presented with pointer-driven depth, then a three-panel category entry.
Headless store
Shop, collection, product and cart pages on the Shopify Storefront API, handing off to Shopify checkout.
Events & articles
A noticeboard of upcoming events and an articles section the team can grow over time.
Feedback on the page
