Where it started.

Rally Boxing was launching its first collection, the Legacy Collection, as a live drop with a fixed date and time. The brand needed a store that matched its monochrome, film-led identity, stayed closed until the moment of launch while still collecting early-access sign-ups, and took real Malaysian payments as soon as it opened.

About: the brand’s story, told in its own voice.

How we approached it.

We built a headless storefront with Remix on Shopify’s Storefront API, hosted on Shopify Oxygen, so the brand keeps Shopify for products, stock and checkout while the front end looks exactly like the brand. A launch gate held every page behind a countdown and an early-access code, and Klaviyo collected sign-ups for a 30-minute early window. Campaign imagery is managed from Shopify admin, so the team changes photos without a developer.

Where it stands.

The Legacy Collection launched on 26 July 2026 after a successful live FPX order. Stock and fulfilment run through Shopify and EasyParcel, and the store is live at rallyboxing.com.

The system behind it.

What we built.

  • Launch gate

A countdown that opens the store at zero, an early-access code and email sign-up. Search engines only see what should be public before launch.

  • Storefront

Shop and category filters, product pages with gallery, variants and size guide, and a search modal in the header.

  • Cart & checkout

A cart drawer that hands off to Shopify checkout with FPX, card and wallet payments. A real FPX order was run end to end before launch.

  • Visuals archive

The Legacy Collection campaign in twelve image slots the team fills straight from Shopify admin.

  • Sign-ups that hold up

Klaviyo double opt-in behind Cloudflare Turnstile, a honeypot and rate limiting. The contact form sends straight from the site.

  • Measurement & SEO

Shopify’s own analytics working on a headless store, consent-aware Meta events, and canonical, Open Graph and product data on every page.
